Fire Razes Electrical Store in Bungur This Morning

Fire gutted an electrical equipment store at Jalan Letjend Suprapto, Bungur Urban Village, Senen.

We managed to control the situation around 6.41 AM. No casualties here

"We get fire report at around 5 AM, and we immediately deploy 13 fire trucks and 91 firefigthers to the scene," expressed Hardisiswan, Head of Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept., Monday (5/14).

Based on the report, fire was triggered by electricity short-circuit and quickly spread to almost parts of the building.

"We managed to control the situation around 6.41 AM. No casualties here. But the loss is predic ted reaching Rp 1 billion," he stated.
